Empowering Partnerships

in Turbulent Times

Friday, 25 January 2019
The Honourable Society of Gray's Inn

OVERVIEW

Volatility and uncertainty have gradually become the new normal of the world, and 2018 is no different. The political and economic uncertainty surrounding Brexit heightens in the UK and the US continues to lead the western world in economic growth. China’s economic slowdown has led to profit declines in major industries and threatened the survival of many well-known companies. It is in the most turbulent times when partnerships are most needed. As the parallel forum to the successful China Development Forum, China-Britain Business Forum establishes a professional platform for constructive engagements to promote business co-operations and partnerships between China and the UK.

This year’s general theme is “Empowering Partnerships in Turbulent Times”, and the prominent speakers and entrepreneurs from the field of finance, law, professional services and education, will shed light on a spectrum of current heatedly-debated issues.
